Shamus Donlon from Realization delivered an innovative talk about the inefficiencies of multitasking, and how to apply better strategies for prioritizing and getting our work done.

Tree Decorating
Sunday, October 14th, 2012We will be decorating our tree for the Goodwill Festival of Trees on November 26 in the Exhibition Hall Balcony at Century II. Time is TBD. Even if you haven’t helped build ornaments, you can still come and decorate.
The Festival of Trees events will be November 29-December 2.
Help Needed to Staff SWE Boutique at National Conference
Sunday, September 30th, 2012The Wichita SWE section will be selling our wine glasses and engraved name badges as a fundraiser at WE12 National Conference. We need to staff our SWE Boutique booth from 8 AM to 5 PM on Thurs, Nov 8 and Fri, Nov 9 and from 8 AM to Noon on Sat, Nov 10. If you can help staff the booth for an hour or more during those days, please contact Jennifer Marshall at Jennifer.marshall@swe.org.

September Lego Build

The Wichita SWE Festival of Trees theme for December 2012 is Lego®. All year long, we will present a monthly Lego® build on the SWE website at http://wichitaswe.org/news/?tag=lego-tree. These building directions are from the Lego®website and are copyrighted. You can make an ornament for the tree. For September we are building an orange and banana.
Bring completed ornaments to any section meeting for delivery to the Tree Committee.
