		<description><![CDATA[On Sunday evening, May 6th, Wichita SWE held a social event at Paint the Towne. Professional members, along with some friends and family, were provided all of the supplies to create their own &#8220;masterpieces&#8221; for a nominal cost. Painters were given step-by-step instructions from Paint the Towne&#8217;s Jessie Sterling, so both the artistically-inclined and not-so-inclined [...]]]></description>

Professional members, along with some friends and family, were provided all of the supplies to create their own &#8220;masterpieces&#8221; for a nominal cost. The teams were judged based off the two rounds of the flight competition that were completed as well as their report. Congratulations to the winning teams.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On April 19, SWE members and guests enjoyed a behind the scenes look at the Orpheum Theater. Orpheum President, Jennifer Wright taught us about the history of the theater during its heyday. We also saw plans for the ongoing renovations. This theater will look amazing when all the restorations are finished! A special treat was going up 5 stories to the projector room and seeing the Excelite projectors with carbon-arc lamps.</p>
