**We are still looking for volunteers for two committee chair positions, Scholarship and Membership. Responsibilities are described below.  If you are interested in either position or know someone who may be interested, please contact wichita@swe.org

Scholarship Chair

Coordinates WSU scholarship award. Works with WSU Engineering Dept liaison to notify/request student applications. Selects committee to review applications & select recipient. Notifies recipient & WSU Scholarship Foundation. Sends notification letters to those not chosen. Invites recipient to Spring Banquet for presentation of award certificate.

Membership Chair

Responsible for managing section membership, including renewals and recruitment. Reviews National membership list for accuracy and changes on an ongoing basis. Follows up with new and potential members.
