We just returned from the national conference in Chicago and it was awesome!!! This was the second largest conference and career fair (the largest was Baltimore by about 150 people!) There quite a few people from our section in attendance and about 35 collegiate from the three universities we support. We had a great turnout!!! Save the date on your calendar now…the next national conference will be November 8-10, 2012 in Houston, Texas!!!
We have two great events coming up in October and then what will possibly be my favorite event of the year in November! This coming Saturday (October 22) the Region i leadership coach will be in Wichita to present the Effective Personal Communications module. Then on Tuesday, October 25 we will hear from the engineer in charge of the Wichita airport expansion. I hope to see you at these meetings!!!
What is better than chocolate? Combining chocolate and engineering! In November we will be touring Cero’s candy including a discussion about the engineering side of running a chocolate manufacturing facility!!!
