Marie Moran is a member of the Tulsa SWE section, if you attended the 2012 Regional conference you probably saw her! Marie works for Spirit AeroSystems in Tulsa where she has been working in the Lean Department. She is now on special assignment for the next two years in Wichita where she is supporting the 737 MAX. Marie graduated from University of Tulsa is 2002 with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and a BA degree in Art. She graduated from Stanford in 2007 with a MS in Product Design.
Marie’s hobbies include working on art projects, baking cookies, and cooking. She was involved with SWE in college and filled many officer and chair positions, her favorite position was speaker chair where she was responsible for bringing in speakers for the year’s events. Marie joined SWE because the women who are in SWE are inspiring and fun to be around. She hopes to help with community outreach while meeting more great people in Wichita…Welcome Marie!!!
