Executive PanelMonday, February 21st, 2011Our January meeting was co-sponsored with the Wichita State University section. It was a panel featuring 6 Wichita company executives discussing choosing leadership paths for career growth, and expectations for collegiate new hires. Questions from the audience were moderated by our own Region I Senator, Vicki Johnson. Over 50 attendees listened to the advice offered by the executives. One theme touched on by the panelists was the importance of teamwork and working well with others. A piece of advice from the evening that applies at all levels of your career is to “declare a major” and then work on the skills you need to get to that next point in your career.
