Expo ideas for next yearMonday, February 25th, 2013Our 2013 Engineering Expo was a HUGE success – over 500 kids attended, everyone loved the space at NCAT, we had some great new booths and can’t wait for next year. In fact next year’s date is already planned! Save February 22nd 2014 on facebook so you don’t forget. If you attended Expo, we’d love to hear what you thought and anything we can do to improve. Please fill out this survey. If you volunteered or hosted a booth, there’s a survey for you too. SWE members who planned Expo – please add your thoughts to the brainstorming files this week! We will be getting together at NCAT to review, debrief, brainstorm ideas and fill in next year’s chair. We’ll talk a little about the space while we’re at NCAT, then go grab some food by 6:15. Engineering Expo February 23Sunday, February 17th, 2013The annual Engineering Expo outreach event is coming up on Feb 23. Two notable changes are a new location at WATC NCAT (4004 N. Webb Road, Student Center entrance) and 2 extra hours of operation. There should be enough time to see all the new booths and all your old favorites. New this year the EAA Young Eagles will be at Expo! Weather permitting, they will be giving discovery flights to kids age 8 and up. Join the event on Facebook and invite your friends.
