What: Join us for free appetizers and a social networking event at Oeno Wine Bar! We will have a short presentation on the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training that a couple of our members (Cassie Schroeder and Joan Wagner) participate in, and tell the story of why (and how!) these originally non-athletic ladies have walked and run a half and full marathons, completed a triathlon, and a 100 mile bike ride!

On Sunday evening, May 6th, Wichita SWE held a social event at Paint the Towne. Professional members, along with some friends and family, were provided all of the supplies to create their own “masterpieces” for a nominal cost. Painters were given step-by-step instructions from Paint the Towne’s Jessie Sterling, so both the artistically-inclined and not-so-inclined could create something to be proud of. Attendees enjoyed a fun evening of painting, eating, drinking and socializing at the event.
