WSU Mentor ProgramFriday, January 4th, 2013Wichita SWE is kicking off a mentorship program with the WSU SWE section and we are looking for volunteers that we can pair with a student! We will have one kick-off event (date and place TBD) to meet your mentee, and after that meetings will be casual for you to arrange with your mentee around your schedule, maybe coffee, lunch, or dinner once a month. This is a great opportunity to make an impact on a future engineer’s life with a very low time commitment! If interested, please contact Cassie Schroeder (cassiana.schroeder@swe.org), the WSU SWE counselor, and send the following information along with any questions you may have: Where do you currently work and what do you do? What degree(s) do you have and from where? WSU – December NewsSaturday, December 15th, 2012Wichita State has had a busy month between the National Conference, a good discussion panel with the professional section on how SWE has effected them, and wrapping up the semester with finals! Check out their December newsletter here: http://webs.wichita.edu/
