Email subscriptions for section news

Do you love Wichita SWE news so much that you can’t wait for the newsletter to get to you every month? Are you too lazy to visit our website? Well we’ve got just the thing for you!

You can now get emails about Wichita SWE news as it’s posted. We’re using Feedburner, a popular Google-owned service that will check for new posts each night and send them to subscribers. If there are multiple entries for one day, they’ll be combined into one email. If there are no entries, you get no email. You don’t have to register for any special new account, you don’t have to be a member of SWE, all you need is a working email address.

To sign up, visit http://wichitaswe.org/subscribe, or use the subscription box on the right column of our news page. Most months we post about 6-12 updates, so you won’t be overwhelmed. But you will hear about our upcoming programs, community events, posted photos and committee activities before the monthly newsletter goes out.

As always, you can get our news on Facebook, Twitter, or Linked In. If you have questions contact our website person kim.burton@swe.org, or newsletter chair marsha.meili@swe.org. Thanks Jessica Stitt for this good idea to keep us all a little more connected!

Kim Burton is an avionics and electrical systems engineer at Textron Aviation. Kim has a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Pittsburg State University. She has received a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Wichita State University.
