WSU Scholarship Fundraising Donations

The Society of Women Engineers Wichita Section will once again be raising money for our scholarship fund at our annual banquet by holding a Gift Basket silent auction. The scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving engineering student at Wichita State University.

We are seeking businesses and individuals to donate goods and services for the baskets. If you have contacts at local businesses who might be willing to donate a gift basket or even just a few items, please reach out to them. If you have gift basket ideas or are willing to donate something to include, please let us know.

Please contact Nicole Stahl ( or Shaina Shapiro ( if you have donations to provide or if you would like to volunteer to collect items and put a gift basket together.

This year’s banquet will be held Tuesday, May 23rd 2017, and we would like to collect items at the May General Meeting which is Tuesday, May 9th at the Wichita Girl Scouts Office.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to donate an item for the gift baskets, please coordinate with Nicole or Shaina to collect your item. If you need a donation receipt, please provide your name, donated item(s), and the estimated value of the item for tax purposes. We are a 501(c)(3) organization and donations are tax deductible.
