Metro-Boulevard Alternative School Tour
Come tour the Metro-Boulevard Alternative School, a high school built in the 1940s that’s in the process of being converted to artist studios and multi-use space. Learn about mid-century architecture, steam boilers, FEMA shelter additions, and most importantly the care and tending of old buildings by the new owner Logan Pajunen who is very passionate about this project. It’s a clean place where you can wear work clothes if that’s what you’re in, or wear sturdy jeans to crawl through a steam tunnel if you’re adventurous.
When: Wednesday, January 31st at 6 pm
Afterwards we’ll have dinner at Margarita’s (Douglas & Hillside)
