Volunteer Opportunity: AIAA STEM Program

AIAA is hosting its annual STEM Program this year on February 22nd and is seeking additional volunteers.  This event, previously Engineers as Educators, involves engineers teaching an elementary classroom about engineering and working through a hands-on activity.  Tonight, is the training session for the event which is scheduled for 1 hour and includes pizza.  If you are interested, please join us at Minneha Elementary at 6 pm.  SWE was asked if we would be interested in partnering with AIAA in hosting this event in the future.  We would like to get as much SWE representation as possible at the event this year to understand if our section would be a good fit for this partnership.  If you have any questions or if you are interested in participating but can’t make the training tonight, you can contact the event coordinator, Minisa Childers.  Thank you for your support!
