Details

Engineering Expo will be held at Century II in Wichita on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 9:00am to 3:00pm with set-up the evening of Friday, March 9th.  Last year we had participation of more than 1,200 kids (grades K-8) and their families at this event.

Our goal is to provide a high-quality experience that will benefit all attendees as well as promote the mission of SWE. The Annual Engineering Expo serves to interest kids in Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM), by offering fun and educational activities for the community to learn and understand more about the STEM professions. The activities presented at Engineering Expo have real world applications, from the uses of robots and electrical circuits to building bridges and using various methods of communication. The hands-on activities help make STEM more accessible to the community and allow participants to appreciate how these professions serve as a positive force in improving the quality of life.
